課程概述 |
In this course, we will introduce basic concepts and principle of physics through a broad range of physics topics. Students will be required to work on the problems and derive solutions based on fundamental physics principles. |
|
課程目標 |
The goal of the course is to let the students have a basic understanding of the physical concepts. The course will focus on how to derive solutions for each physics problems.
The first semester will cover the topics of
- motions in 1d, 2d, and 3d
- force and motion
- kinetic and potential energy and conservation of energy
- the center of mass, momentum, and collisions
- rotation, rolling, and angular momentum
- equilibrium and elasticity
- graviatation
- fluids
- oscillations
- waves
- temperature, heat, gases, and Thermodynamics

課程要求 |
須具備高中程度的微積分能力與物理知識
作業須在出題後一星期，於上課時間繳交，或在 17:00 之前交至助教辦公室。 |
